Description
green tea contains three main families of antioxidants: catechins, theaflavins and also thearubigins. Its high antioxidant content comes in particular from its high concentration of green tea polyphenols. It is considered that a cup of tea has an antioxidant content 3.5 times higher than a glass of orange juice and four times higher than vitamin C. Its antioxidant properties therefore have a positive impact on the cells of the skin to fight against aging. Numerous studies also show that green tea may have beneficial properties in the prevention of cancer and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
